I am a licensed clinical social worker and clinical supervisor who has been practicing for over 14 years. In 2018, I was the recipient of a double lung transplant at UCLA. I understand the complexities of trying to manage physical and emotional health, navigating the many challenges that come with receiving a new organ, and figuring out how to create a new life with an amazing gift. As a therapist, I weave my professional understanding of life transitions, individual and family systems, grief, loss, and trauma with my personal experience of taking that second breath.
